1. Verify whether any limitations apply:

  • Go to Settings > General > Restrictions to turn off restrictions. Tap to approve access for the iTunes Store and In-App Purchases if Restrictions were enabled.

2. Confirm that you're logging into iTunes and the App Store with the same Apple ID. 

 

3. Try updating your payment information online and login into iCloud instead. 

 

4. Logout of iTunes may be accomplished by selecting Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > Sign Out. Restart your computer or device, then log back in. 

 

5. Choose Settings, then select Your Apple ID from the iTunes & App Store drop-down menu. View Apple ID and, if prompted, enter your Apple ID password.

  • Choose Payment Information

  • Re-enter the "Required" Security Code field and check the other fields after that.

  • Click "Done"
